Surfing Australia Surf Courses

Our Safe Surfing Surf Course package lets students complete a Surfing Australia Surf Course, which we have been teaching for over 20 years. Certificate Levels 1-5 available. We care about our students’ surfing progress. In each lesson we give you new challenges and get you riding different surfboards. In advanced levels we teach people how to ride and look after fibreglass surfboards.

On the completion of each Learn to Surf Course our students are presented with a Surfing Australia Certificate. More Info...    

Learn to Surf at Lancelin Beach Surf School

Lancelin’s stunning “Back Beach” is one of WA’s best beaches for learning to surf. The waves here provide ideal safe surfing conditions and allow students 200 metre rides into shore once they have found their feet on a surfboard. Surf Camps the fun way to Learn to Surf

Over the past ten years our popular daytrips and Surf Camps have proved very popular with tourists and local Perth residents. We employ local Lancelin surfers as surf coaches to make valuable use of their extensive knowledge of local surf conditions.

surfschool.com employs over 25 full-time & casual professional surf coaches. Ranging from Australian and WA Surf Champions to graduates in Sports Science, our coaches all share a passion for surfing WA’s waves and sharing this exciting sport with others. Our surf coaches’ local knowledge of wave conditions at Scarborough and Lancelin ensures a safe surfing experience for all participants.

Learn to Surf Equipment

We recognise the importance of providing top of the range equipment. surfschool.com has strong working relationships with Rip Curl and G-Boards Australia and replaces boards and wetsuits annually.

Our equipment easily covers the needs of students at all levels of surfing ability (Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced). We provide Rip Curl fibreglass Mini-Mals, Rip Curl shortboards and G-Board softboards ranging from 6’ to 8’6”. In summer months we provide 2mm springsuits and rash vests, while in autumn and winter we offer 3/2 and 4/3mm steamers. Sizes from Kids 6 to Adults XXL are catered for.
